These plants make you dizzy with its scent. Flowers are the reproductive organs in plants. It is their job to be attractive to agents which can aid in the pollination of their seeds. That's why flowers have nectars and fragrances and bright colors- to attract pollination agents. However, there are some plants whose flowers are not so heavenly with their scent. Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis: This species is the largest of the Bulbophyllum. It is native to Papua New Guinea.  Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis gets its name from having foliage (not flowers) that are similar to Phalaenopsis. Well known for its long leaves and clusters of red, hirsute, stinky flowers. The warmer and more humid that you grow it, the longer and broader the leaves become. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering. Keep good air movement to avoid fungal growth. Keep plants in shade. Pot plants in sphagnum moss, fine bark, or mounted.
